Of people and tongue

salam alayk. may God bless everyone reading this blog and this post especially. amin.

question one :
what is the soft boneless thing inside your mouth? it is, i don't know, pink in colour? yeah, what in the world is that? ask this to anybody, as in ANYBODY, be it kids, adults, idiots or those with high IQ, they will answer this rethorical what,-you-have-no-other-question-to-ask question correctly. it is called the tongue. you can google it, you know, if you're wondering how does a tongue look like. or maybe you can just stick your tongue out at the mirror and observe it. or you can ask your roomate to do that for you. whatever.

question two :
why is tongue created in the first place?
now this is subjective, don't you think? tongue, though small in size, it is huge in function. scientifically, tongue is where your taste buds are located. without tongue, you won't taste the sweetness of sweets, the bitterness of dark chocolates, the hotness of sambal belacan, to name a few. tongue also helps to roll whatever you chew in your mouth so you can swallow it easily and thus prevent constipation. tongue, other than taking care of food, allows you to talk. properly, that is. i do not learn about this yet, but my theory is that tongue controls the vibration that is coming out of your voice box (or whatever you want to call it) by certain movement. with tongue, you can pronounce the words 'appropriate', 'extraordinarily', 'erythropoitein', 'ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid' and so on and so forth. without tongue you cannot even pronounce the letter 'L' or 'R'. be thankful with that now. with tongue, people can talk. can communicate. if it wasn't for the tongue, all of the entire human race would have been educated in the vocassional school, where they learn sign language (no offence to the disables, okay?).

question three :

WHY DO PEOPLE LIKE TO MISUSE THEIR TONGUE? OR RATHER, WHY WOULD PEOPLE ABUSE A PRECIOUS GIFT FROM GOD THAT GOES BY THE NAME 'TONGUE'? WHY DO PEOPLE LIKE TO TELL OTHER PEOPLE THINGS WHOSE TRUTH ARE NOT YET KNOWN? WHY DO PEOPLE LIKE TO JUMP TO CONCLUSION, TO ASSUME SOMETHING AND SPREAD RUMORS? WHY DO PEOPLE LIKE TO ACT SMART AND TELL OTHER PEOPLE WHAT TO DO, OR 'CORRECT' SOMETHING THAT IS 'WRONG', WHEN ACTUALLY THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON YET? WHY DO PEOPLE SAY BAD THINGS ABOUT OTHERS BEHIND THEIR BACKS? AND WHY, FOR WHATEVER REASONS POSSIBLE, MUST PEOPLE SPREAD LIES, INSTEAD OF TALKING BASED ON EVIDENCE, OR AT LEAST DIG DEEPER INTO ONE STORY, OR LISTENING TO BOTH SIDES OF THE STORY?????!!

now to these questions, i need some answers.
thank you.

First of all, those who have tongue, they have other organ as well like brain, eyes etc. people tend to correct the things that they already see what is going on or changes that is obvious.some people can see the good and bad in things that other people did especially when the person who done wrong actually know the true nature of that mistake. it is bad if the person who done wrong do not WANT to ADMIT their mistake. there are certain people who has the privilege to "correct" what is "wrong" eventhough they might think that it is not yet the truth. It is important for the person to be corrected be husnuzzzon (u know what is it mean). people would sacrifice anything (EVEN THEIR TONGUE) for someone that they love. One question to be considered, how do you confirm people who talk at the back is talking bad about the particular person? please provide with evidence...

Talked to u bout this before. Don't think bout it that much cay? I know that's easier said than done. Been there u see, but even so don't let anger get the best of u. Feel comforted that there are people who understand and even if you don't think anybody does, Allah understands.

Screw the others! not worth thinking bout. right? XD

first of all, let's not make this personal. from both comments, i sense that both are talking about specific thing. now, i do not know the truth, so i won't say you are talking about personal things here, though i sense some kind of counter attack is going on.

second of all, we are talking about tongue, for the record.

third of all, none of my questions were answered. i just need some answers, that's all. why must you, Muslim,(a capital M is it? so u're name is Muslim. if it's not, then i do not know why you do not want to use your real name which were thought by your parents so hard) came up with another question before answering all of mine?

anyway, i'll entertain u. oh, btw, thanks nadira.
rite, basically, i agree with your statements. husnuzzon and what nots. the thing is, my dear, husnuzzon does not fall to the ones to be corrected only. the one who's correcting must have husnuzzon as well, don't you think? literally, if the wrongdoer is not admitting his bad, husnuzzon. if it is very bad indeed, then prove his wrong behaviour in front of him, so that he has no alibi, instead of forcing him to admit, which is futile. what i'm actually focusing here is that someone cannot be blamed unless there is solid evidence of the claim. i know you know the conditions of.. nk jatuhkan hukuman sebat untuk penzina (ur a malay, i know u r, if u r not, find a malay to translate that sentence), rite? so i don't think i need to explain further. oh, yeah, sacrifice their tongue for someone they love. in a way, love is a biased thing here. what do u exactly mean by sacrificing ur tongue? i cannot explain the bias of love before you give me a definition of sacrificing a tongue. because maybe we will not be on the same
page.

your question. though this is about tongue, i'd like to quote your statement: "First of all, those who have tongue, they have other organ as well like brain, eyes etc." so this means humans have ears. i am a human. thus, i have ears. (u know what, this can lead to a new post - of people and ears..)i HEARD people talking bad about other people in the absence of that particular people.(read: heard, not listen).i can tell the subject of the talk is 'bad' because human instinct would recognise it as bad. it's that simple. and i believe what i did in response to that need not to be discussed here. oh, do you want names? i'm sorry but i don't think i can do that because, you know, mengaibkan orang la pulak. ur a muslim, u should know. u see, people who do not know me just do not know. rite, nadira? huhu..

rite, i hate debating, because there's no point in that. it only brings hatred and anger. n i believe Muslim here knows me from the outside, and i believe you, Muslim, know that i'm a hot tempered person, as people would say behind and at my face. oh, yeah, maybe this is question, rite? how do i know ppl say i'm hot tempered behind my back.. rite, somebody talked. i appreciate those who said it at my face. anger, when magnified up to a certain extent...oh, god, how i hate to admit this, but when this happened, my hands and my legs will do the talking, which is not good, i know. so in order to prevent that from happening, i choose to avoid debate.

what number is it now? five. rite. i'm still searching for answers to my questions.

thank you.

mirul :)

alright then, 7 questions that need answering. Let's see if I can help.

1. They don't realise the tongue's true function.
2. They take the gift given by Allah for granted as they have never experienced life without it.
3. Perhaps to find answers or just to have a conversation thinking it's a good topic to discuss and find conclusions together.
4. They can't wait for truth that might not surface so they add in whatever conclusions they think is suitable. They think they've got it all figured out.
5. They forget to confirm stories and feel the need to correct things straight away. Being hasty that is. Not very wise.
6. They don't have the guts to say it straight to their faces yet they still wanna say it.
7. They take the simpler route as to go and really discover the truth consumes a lot of their time (they don't realise gossiping also consumes a lot of time)

well, that's what I think. since nobody is helping you to answer. I ask a lot of those questions too, usually rhethorical to express anger...oh well, like u said people who don't know u, just do not know. I'll back u up on that one :)
